About

Join us for Winterbourne's Warm and Green Open Homes day on Saturday 1st March from 10am-1pm, organised by Winterbourne and Frome Valley Environmental Group (WEG) in partnership with Bristol Energy Network (BEN). We're delighted that local residents who have made energy efficiency changes to their homes have agreed for other local residents to come and visit their homes and talk to them about their experiences. There will also be information located at Winterbourne Library to guide and inform you on the day from 10am-12pm.

This event aims to give visitors the opportunity to speak to real people and get advice, information, and inspiration, helping people to understand how to make ‘green’ changes to their own homes, most importantly, without a sales pitch. You might have an interest in insulation, want to install low-carbon technology like a heat pump or solar panels, or are keen to experiment with DIY draught-proofing. If you are interested in knowing more about the project and the homes involved, please email winterbourneenvironmental@gmail.com or visit the WEG website. https://winterbourne-environmental.uk/
